Symptoms of thyroid disorders

Background about the sub hyperthyroidism

Since thyroid hormones regulate metabolism in every cell in the body, lack of these hormones can affect most body actions.

Among adults, there are situations of very easy deprivation, it can hardly be told, to situations of severe shortage, threatening the very life.

Symptoms of thyroid disorders can arise from several factors expressed in two phenomena:

Under an initial activity of the thyroid and sub-secondary activity of the thyroid.

Symptoms to sub hyperthyroidism:

• Obesity

• Dry scaly skin thickened

• Edema

• Fatigue, weakness and lack of energy

• Constipation

• Low blood pressure

• Depression

• Circulation problems

• Sensitivity to cold

• Slow pulse

• Loss of hair splitting

• Anemia

• Lack of concentration

• lack of appetite and yet weight gain

• decrease libido

• Low body temperature

• Rise in blood fats and cholesterol level higher

Sub hyperthyroidism in infants:

When a baby is born with sub hyperthyroidism he should be treated in conventional medicine to not reach a state of backwardness. This is a test done routinely

The standard treatment of thyroid activity is providing a drug called Altrooksin. This drug causes thyroid atrophy thus paralyzing the gland. Naturopathy treatment should start before taking Altrooksin.

There are supplements taking part in production of thyroid hormones.

Physical activity makes provision for thyroid tissue and increases sensitivity to thyroid hormone, so it’s important to combine exercise therapy in sub thyroid activity. Also exercise helps weight loss and raise energy.

Rare symptoms of thyroid disorders

•Harassment in the legs

•Skin changes

•Changes in fingernails and paralysis in some cases.

Other major factors of thyroid activity

  • Sex

Relation to probability of the disease in women with men is 7:1 to 10:1, but the ratio of the probability of eye disease is 1:1.

  • Tension

Appearance of the disease often accompanied by emotional situations typical of a market crisis divorce, death or departure difficulties. Common case in fact violate this disease outbreak is threatening in cases of separation from which the patient depends on him emotionally.

  • Genetics

Identical twins have a 50% probability of disease if one sick sick twin and 9% if the twins are not identical.

  • Left

People lefties were as greater risk of autoimmune disease

Smoking

  • Exposure to mercury cadmium

Reducing risk factors

Stress, smoking, consumption of iodine increased, restlessness. Reducing stress factors is the single most important action the patient should undertake to reach normal gland function. Avoid any factor that can affect the patient emotionally. Rest is extremely important, including full noon and night’s sleep.

I SWEAR that I have a thyroid problem. My Ob/Gyn did a blood test and referred me to my doctor. She said that the # was abnormal. Everytime that my doctor checks it he says that it is normal. Last time it was 3.5. Is that normal? I have the following symptoms:
Cold hands and feet
A tendency to feel the cold
Depression
Tiredness especially in the morning
Headache
Constipation
Swollen eyelids especially in the morning
Loss of hair
Dry skin

The dry skin is particularly bothersome and I hate the hair loss. I am ALWAYS tired and seem to gain weight no matter what I do. How do I make my doctor listen to me? Should I see an endocrinologist even though my doc thinks that there is no problem? He has no explanation for my symptoms and tells me simply that my thyroid was normal at 3.5.

I had hyperthyroidism about 6 years ago I recieved a full thyroidectomy which means the removal of my thyroid gland. Every since i have had trouble growing my hair and keeping it healthy. I was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar situation and maybe had some suggestions for me. I would appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

I suffer from depression and social anxiety and recently my therapist suggested that I have my thyroid checked. Why would that be?

I have a thyroid disease that boosts my metabolism and makes me gain weight quickly, is there any way that I can stop it without taking pills(not enough money)?
Sorry, accident. I meant that it lowers my metabolism.

Depression runs in my family literaly, every one and i mean every oe on my moms side of the family has depression of some kinds…sometimes if kids at school diss me or if im just thinking about anything(sometimes)i get this feeling in the pit of my stomach almost like when you have to yawn and it just wont come out or when your on the brink of an orgasm but you just wont Cum but it doesnt feel good and then i start thinking about how every one around me would be so much happier if i just keeled ofer and died…some times if my dad is scolding me or just giving me critisism i begin to cry and i feel like the whole world hates me and i should just die. some times i even pray to god to just kill me make me go away, every one will be happy then. I doubt any one would even go to my funeral if i died ya know? then i feel life is hopless…Im not Emo or anything i dont cut myself or anything like that its just a feeling of hopelesness and pain my body actually hurts and I feel fatigued:help?

I’m not asking for the antidepressant run through that talks about a chemical imbalance in the brain, but what are some non-psychological disorders/illnesses that would cause depression and panic attacks? As in, what are some alternative diagnosis? eg. thyroid problems

Is it a disease or a distubed gland condition which needs one time treatement or life long treatment? Can it be corrected for once and for ever with the modern day medicines? If not treated out of ignorance then what are the extreme harmful effects of the disease? Can any medical professional guide me about this disease as to help me approach the doctor to be guided properly to overcome the problem?

Since turning 15 a few week ago I have had anger problems and had really bad depression

Problems:

Thyroid Disfunction
Depression
Bad Knees
Hip Dysplasia
Lumps on my wrists that need surgery.

What can I do I am sick of my life

I haven’t had depression since taking my thyroid medicine, but I forgot to take my prescription home over the weekend and now I’ve been three days’ with out. I feel really, really down and I’ve been eating a lot. Will this get better once I get back on my thyroid medicine?

I have thyroid disease but on tests of late it says its working fine and i haven’t taken the medicine for a while and thinking about it when i stopped taking my thyroid medicine i stopped having periods and i am not having sexual relations with anyone so can the thyroid be affecting my period or is it something else?

I am 10 months post-partum and have been experiencing symptoms of Post-Partum Depression for some time now. I went in the other day to talk to my OBGYN about it and she wanted to test my Thyroids through blood work. Why is this?

I gained 30 lbs in two years and it seems like no matter how hard I try, I can’t lose weight. I sleep for crap and snore and wake up gasping for air… I’m also very depressed most of the time. Now I’m going to have a lot of extra medical expenses most likely….. and that will only add to the depression. Why does all this stuff have to be going wrong? I’m only 25!

I am 16 and i have hashimoto’s thyritis (auto immune thyroid disease). my mother has the same condition but I do not know the cause of her’s, she also has rheumatoid arthritis, does this increase my chances of having rheumatoid arthritis?

I was diagnosed with Graves’ Disease when I was 9 years old. My parents discussed treatments with my doctor and after about 1 1/2 years on PTU it went into remission. Now, I’m 21 years old and it came back this time full force. I have thyroid eye disease which is causing me to become a recluse. I’ve done everything I can- humidifier, eye drops, cold compress- but it still is a surprise what I will look like when I wake up in the morning. I hate taking pictures of myself and hate even more looking and talking to people. I used to love what I looked like and now I hate looking at myself. This is causing a major damper on my life. I’m not being vain I just want to be a normal 21 year old.
PS. I’ve recently quit smoking as well. Can anyone out there help me or give me some advice? I’m trying my hardest to stay positive but my faith is running out….

I had part of my thyroid taken out, and they put me on meds, but i have been suffering from depression. So i was wondering if anybody has had any problems with the meds????????
Thanks.
They put me on Synthoid, but didn’t check the box, so i am recieving generic brand, Levothyroxin. Now isn’t either meds. suppose to shut down the thyoid and just give you the amounts of that you need? And does it matter if i get an generic? Thanks.

Do you have to be born with a thyroid disease or is it something that you can develop later on, I was tested for a thyroid when my mother was diagnosed and the test said that I was fine but lately my neck and tonsils have became swollen just like hers and I have unexplained weight gain (eating healthier than ever) so im just wondering if i could have developed one?

When weather is around 12 (C) degree
my body temp is 35(C) in the morning,
cold intolerance and need to wear alot… of clothes.
bluish Fingernails and will be better after lunch/dinner or shower.
I cannot concentrate on my work and feel tired all the time.
And I have depression and dry skin, all seems to be thyroid disorder.

Will I get thyroid disorder because I have depression?
or I get depression because I have thyoid discorder
or it is something else?

I will check with my doctor, but can you give me some advice? thanks.

If doctors have found all 3 types of disporders linking together why not just look at it as thyroid disorder, plenty of articles so far ive read today lead directly to bad diagnoses of patients with thyroid problems, if loss of energy and depression are only treated for depression shouldnt docs be more focused these days to make damn sure its not a thyroid disorder. For the past couple of years myself ive been having the exact symptons, the response from the doctors has so far been are you training, i say no so that is the problem straight away, forget the blood test patient, just get out there, so what if you pretty much are to tired and depressed to do training why dont they go heck lets check for thyroid, and my mom has diabetes she has all the signs of thyroid mulfunction so now shes been on diabetes meds, but thyroid is directly linked to how your body produces insulen or not enough of it aswell as loss of energy and therefore not enough sleep lack of concentration. What is wrong with these docs ill be pissed if my moms diabetes was wrongly diagnosed especially if its a problem with her thyroid, plus meds for diabetes are expensive maybe its about helping the parmaceutical companies to profit more but thats just sick.

Whats your point of view on this.

I was put on adderall to help my brain fog and fatigue, but i dont like the edgey feeling you get but it really makes a diff in energy. Will wellbutrin sr help with some of the purks on the adderall? i want to also quit smokeing.

I have randam pains from what is thought to be depression, I am currently waiting on results of my thyroid scan, should I go and play in a soccer game? I am not sure if it is best to wait for my results or not?

What type of doctor treats a thyroid disease? ENT?
