I mean the thyroid causing depression even on meds.?
There are test for the thyroid and it can cause depression despite the normal values. Anyone who deals with it?

I read your other question, and I believe some of the responses you received there are valid.
If he was diagnosed as having hypothyroidism, he should be receiving thyroid meds, and anti-depressants. If he is still depressed, he may need different meds, as well as counseling.
It sometimes takes a few tries to get the medication right. He needs to keep his doc informed and go in for some therapy. Although hes suffering from depression and probably the effects of the hypothroidism, he needs to try to get a bit of exercise everyday and eat healthy small meals.
