Is levothyroxin going to help the thyroid problems?
I have been taking this prescription for about 3 weeks now. I would like to know if it is supposed to be helping me lose some of the 30 pounds I have gained . Also the other symptoms. I don’t feel any different at all. As a matter of fact I think it might be making me nauseous.
It should be helpful in all these symptoms that you’ve mentioned.
If you feel such unpleasant side effects, maybe it’s worth consulting a doctor and modifying dosage.
It can take several months for levothyroxine to completely work. Also, your physician might not have found the right dose yet. It can take months to find the right dose. Levothyroxine has very few side effects. Most of them have to do with taking too little or too much.
