Is thyroid problems a symptom of Lupus?
I’ve been having problems with my thyroid,(swelling ,rapid heartbeat) I just had an ultrasound but i haven’t learned the results yet. Just wondering if that’s a symptom of Lupus because i have several symptoms of that also, I’m not paranoid or anything I just don’t want to miss anything. Thanks for your answers!
If you have Lupus you are prone to having other auto immune diseases. Hashimoto’s disease is an auto immune disease of the thyroid so it is possible that the two go hand in hand. Lupus is systemic and it can attack the endocrine system. I would get your TSH tested to make sure.
