I think I have a slow thyroid…what are some of the signs? Any help would help..I don’t have money for the doctor yet.

I recently been diagnosed with Stage 2 Thyroid Cancer. I have been advised to have my Thyroid removed. I was laid off from my job in Oct 2008 and have no insurance or job. What are my chances of getting coverage of the surgery since this now a pre-existing condition (it has been diagnosed as cancer)? I have some money saved up but nowhere close to the cost of the surgery.

Should I just consider Medicaid or move to Canada?

Thanks…

I have Hypothyroidism, I am sopposed to be taking synthroid everyday, but the last year I haven’t been able to cause of no insurance and no doctor and just haven’t had the money. Now i am getting insurance again, can i stary taking it again, will it make me tired and sleepy and wore out again?

I never had anemia till I had my first child, that was 5 years ago. I’ve been dealing with it ever since and every child I’ve had after him it has gotten a little worse. I’m thinking its a nutritional defincientcy that my children took and I never replaced it somehow. I want this taken care of and cured. But some friends of mine said that I might have thyroid problems and to get it checked. What is the difference btwn the two and how can I tell? I’m not sure what to do. If anyone has experienced this or knows what to do please help, I have to chase after three children and need my energy. lol I would love to go to a naturopath but just don’t have the money to do it.

I don’t have insurance and I don’t have the money to go to the doctor, but I really need some kind of help to try to lose this weight. I exercise but it doesn’t seem to help.
