I have the understanding that Depakote is not only to treat depression but is said to help those with thyroid symptoms and
people who get migraines. If a person has all the symptoms of hyperthyroid and a nodule is found on their thyroid but they have been on depakote because it was thought they were manic depressive. Then when they go in for their thyroid tests their
thyroid tests come back normal. Could the depakote be interfering with their thyroid test results?

I’ve been doing bbt tracking, and I’ve noticed that my highest basal cell temperature in the morning was 36.8F. It’s most often between 36.1-36.5.
I believe I’ve had a thyroid test, and it was normal. I first realised my body temperature might too low when I was using a fertility chart and had to change the range since my waking temperature has never even reached 37 degrees C. I sleep pretty normally, and usually wake up naturally around the same time every day.
The thing is, I don’t tend to feel cold, and although I weigh more than I did when I was younger and can’t seem to lose it, I’m still pretty slim. I do have some symptoms that appear to be consistent with hypothyroidism, but some are not. For example, I don’t have any throat problems and I rarely ever feel cold even with a low body temperature.
Is it within a normal range, or are can it be a symptom of something besides thyroid disorders?

My thyroid test came back high plus I have some thyroid nodules. Can an internist take care of this or do I need to see an endocrinologist?

Thyroid test vaules in the upper limits of normal. Is a second opinion necessary?
The bulge in the throat has been there for a long time. But lethargy and mild depression used to be rare symptoms, but is becoming common now.

1. My neck feels swollen outwards, but muscular and in the bone structure.
2. My Adam’s Apple is about 2x the size of the average male’s and I don’t have an extremely skinny neck.
3. Two small lumps (under my skin, feel like lymph notes) have formed under my chin and are always visible.
4. My lymph notes are ALWAYS swollen.
5. When bending my neck back it feels like I’m lifting weights and the strain is directly under my Adam’s Apple.
6. It’s hard for me to touch my chin to my chest.
7. It feels like I’m lifting a weight when I swallow and sometimes at the end of the day my neck will be sore (especially directly under my adam’s apple).
8. Half the time my adam’s apple and directly under it hurts.
9. Sometimes my adam’s apple will spasm and move violently up and down against my will.
10. Light pressure against my neck (even a hug) can make my adam’s apple and under it hurt for a long time.

Also, is the thyroid test a simple blood test? Could a naturepath doc help me?

Anyone else had those issues? I don’t have my thyroid nor do I have my female reproductive organs(hysterectomy) and have a lot of physical and now mental things going on after being given PRemarin. My thyroid test (TSH) showed normal range according to my family doctor and they lowered my dose from 2.0 to .5 and things started going downhill from there. I have felt like I was going crazy.
