Thyroid is a gland in the neck which produces a hormone thyroxine which basically increases the metabolic rate.So there may be two possibilities.
(1 ) You have less thyroxine. The symtoms will be.
You are sluggish.
You cannot stand cold.
You have a loss of appetite.
