I'm 16 and i've got an underactive thyroid. And it's not a nice thing to have. Your hair falls out easily (not in clumps just really big strands) your tired all the time, really run down, you have to have blood tests alllll the time. I went to the hospital and found I had mine. Best just to check with your gp and get a blood test done =]

I have hypothyroid and I have not heard of the being cold being related to hypothyroid...Could it be you have bad circulation? That can cause you to have cold hands, feet, and even the tip of your nose! I would check with your family doctor
